The Cub Scout Range Master course will cover the essentials of running a range for Cub Scouts focusing on BB guns, archery and now slingshots. This course will also present the new requirements for the Cub Scout Shooting Sports Awards requirements. This course will allow persons over 18 years of age to run a Cub Scout shooting range during qualified events.

Range Master Training must be renewed every two (2) years to receive a current Training Course Certificate No. 33767 as defined by the BSA Shooting Sports Manual.

Adult ages 18 and over are $20 each and will receive full certification for Range Master. Youth ages 11 to 17 are $5 each and will receive Assistant Range Master certification. Please be prepared to provide proof of age.

Course is 4 hours, no meals will be provided.

Range Master class fees are non-refundable, however, for persons calling in prior to event with a cancellation will be allowed to apply the fees towards a future Range Master course. Maximum credit of $20 will be applied to future course.

This course will be held at Hamilton Scout Headquarters.

Please plan ahead accordingly as there will be no refunds. To be eligible for credit for the same course in the future, notice of cancellation must be received no less than 96 hours in advance of the course. Once we order course materials, we cannot return them.
