This required course is for adult scouters who are taking their crew on any BSA High Adventure outing. You'll learn the Patient Assessment System, how to provide effective first aid treatments for injuries and illnesses common in the outdoors, and how to make appropriate evacuation decisions.

The course contains 14 hours of material presentations and a 2 hour training simulation of emergency situations that would be typical of any outdoor Scouting activity.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a two year certification from the ESCI Institute along with course materials for you to keep.

This course will be offered on Saturday, April 13th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday, April 14th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  It will be held at Colorado Adventure Point / Hamilton Scout Headquarters: 10455 W 6th Avenue, Suite 150, Lakewood, CO 80215

Course fee is $32, which includes course manual, coffee, juice, donuts, and a course completion certificate. 

An optional CPR/AED Certification course will held, Saturday, April 13th  from Saturday 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the same location.  There is an additional fee of $15 per person for this optional class.

The course fee will not be collected online. Course fee ($32 for Course Only or $47 for Course and CPR/AED) must be paid in advance and check mailed to:
